     shower invitation addressing

When addressing wedding shower invitations can labels be used or do they have to be hand written?

Since the bridal shower is to be a more intimate gathering of close friends and family, different than the guest list for the actual wedding, there shouldn't really be a need to use labels but there is no etiquette suggesting the use of lables is wrong for showers. Due to the fact that showers are typically less formal and more personal it's nice to hand address the shower invitations.
