     who to invite

We are having a bridal party (no gifts) where we will be working on the traditional chuppah. We live in the hometown of the groom. Can we invite people who are not invited to the wedding? I think that there are some people who might just like the activity as well as meet the bride.

The wedding will take place several hundred miles from here.

How would you feel if you were invited to help create this chuppah but you were not invited to the wedding? I would feel slighted and hurt and I think most people would. Unless they were invited and declined the invitation then you should only ask those who have been invited.

Exactly. All those who are involved in prewedding activities are invited to the wedding.
