     Basket for Thank You cards

Hello- I am in a wedding in May and my job for the shower is to bring a basket that people will be putting their thank you cards in with thier address filled out! I would really like to make it real pretty, and her flowers are tulups! Does anyone have any ideas on this and maybe to incorporate real flowers on the side or something? any feed back would be appreciated! Thank you!

It is not considered acceptable, proper etiquette, to have your guests write out their own thank you note envelopes. Please let your bride hand address and write out all of the notes herself. Her guests made an effort to select just the right gift so the bride should send a personal, hand written response, including the envelope. Don't ask your guests to do this for her.

If you are trying to simplify this task for the bride have a list typed up of all of the guests complete with their addresses and during the gift opening, have someone jot down the gift given next to the address and name.

Thank you for letting me know! Actually, the reason we were doing this was because there were gifts to be given out and that was how we were going to draw names! I guess I'll just get the list of everyones name from the Bride and make cute cards with everyones name on it and draw that way! So I still need an idea for the basket? Have an idea with fresh tulups, would there be a way to do that so they wouldn't die? Thank you!!

I saw some really cute beaded tulips you could make and attach to a basket:

Beaded Tulips

Ribbon Flower Tulips

Maybe you could decopage some tulip shapes on to a hatbox or some unusually shaped box.

SmileJust decorate the basket with some ribbon and tie or tuck the fresh tulips in sort of last minute...They won't die in a few hours time. If you want to fuss more you can get water vials from a florist but I do not think they are really necessary. have fun...
