My daughter lives in Texas and will be coming home to New Jersey for her bridal shower and wedding. The shower is obviously not a surprise. How can we get across to her shower guests that the registries include her home address should they wish to ship the gift prior to or after the shower? She will be flying home, and obviously cannot take the gifts back with her on the plane. Would it be okay to ask guests to include a picture of the gift in a card so that there is something to open at the shower and have the gift and giver acknowledged appropriately? Would it also be tacky to suggest gift cards?
