     HELP!!!

I'm the Maid of Honor in my sister's wedding which, thankfully, is not for a good while, but I've got the traditional task of handling the Bachelorette Party, and I'm pretty stumped on ideas. I want it to be pretty, fun, but above all, memorable. Any ideas? I'll consider anything!

This is such a wide open question and very little posting room. It would take a few pages to discuss all the options you could have planning a terrific bachelorette party.

There are all sorts of factors to consider. First, decide on a guest list before you begin to plan since inviting grandma may mean you will have to forgo any risque entertainment. Decide where and when the event will take place. If it is to be held on a Friday night vs. a Sunday afternoon the theme options may be different. Once you have and idea about who will be attending and when, you can then go on to decide on a theme such as "A Day at the Spa", "Casino Night", Comedy Club Outing or the typical visit to a local "Chippendale's" show.

Sounds like you have time on your side, and this is a huge advantage. Bachelorette Parties are usually one of two things: wild or tame, depending on the Bride's style. If you host a tame Bridal Shower that includes all the family (including grandma) then you're left with lots of options for the Bachelorette Party that can be anywhere from fun and games to a wild night on the town with just the Bride's close friends.
