I am a bridesmaid for a wedding with 8 other girls. We are splitting the cost of the favors, but it is a nightmare trying to decide on something of reasonable cost. Everyone is short on money, so we need some tasteful ideas on inexpensive shower favors. There are 70 people coming, so even $2.00 a person is a lot...HELP!
This is why we alsways remind the hostesses of the bridal showers to ask for a suggested list based on the number you can comfortably afford to host. In the future please set a guest list limit for the bridal shower and make sure that the guests invited are only those close friends and family members of the bride and not a duplication of the wedding guest list.
If the invitations have not been sent you might want to revisit thisissue and cut the guest list down.
