This may sound corny but honesty is the best policy...with diplomacy, of course. Have a heart to heart with your friend. Let her know that while you think highly of her and enjoy her company tremendously that you are having a destination wedding alone, with your husband, no invited guests...sorry. Make a date with her to get together and celebrate when you get back; have something planned ahead of time if possible so you can give her a place and time. This should make it clear that she is not welcome.
