My fiance and I would like to elope in Italy. I have been doing research on-line about all of the paperwork needed and the best location for our needs of a civil ceremony. We are thinking of the date of April 23, 2005. I think it is probably wise for us to hire a wedding planner in Italy that can assist us with the proper paperwork and arrange the civil ceremony location as well as lodging...we want to honeymoon in Italy as well. I think we would like to elope in Venice, however Florence and other parts of Tuscany looked beautiful. Can anyone recommend a helpful planner for a ceremony in Italy that is reputable but is not going to cost an arm and a leg! What are any of your recommendations on good locations. What is a realistic cost for this type of service? We are on a fairly tight budget, but we are only planning on a ceremony and not a reception. Thanks.

labride!
my fiance and i are planning on eloping to Italy as well! we are sooo lost! so many places to visit and so much to do. It will only be him and myself, so we just want a simple civil ceremony and have photography afterwards. how is the planning for you coming along? do you have any advice for us? (ie: gown rental, bouquets, hair, makeup) Anything would help.
