Appropriate location for post destination wedding reception

We would like to have a wedding reception for our friends and family when we return form our desintation wedding. We don't want to have a sit down function with dancing and food, just a stand up cocktail party. Where is an appropriate place to host this?

This is a personal decision based on your location. Choose a venue convenient for the majority of guests which can provide the service you are expecting.
