Attendance at wedding in lieu of wedding gift

We are having a wedding in cottage country and realize that there is a cost associated with guests attending as they will have to pay for one night at the resort - so we are asking for their attendance at the wedding as our wedding gift (i.e. no gifts - just please join us in celebrating our wedding)
How do we word this on the invitation?

Dear Juleslaw,

Bravo on your focus: guests comfort instead of gifts. Unfortunately though, no mention of gifts is included in our invitations. So, it is best to state this on a wedding website and/or by word of mouth. Just let everyone know as best possible verbally.

Best wishes,

I agree. There is no correct way to state this. Word of mouth is best.
