I am getting married in September in Hawaii. Only family has been invited and 2 close friends. Both friends can't make it but she offered to throw a shower for me. I also had two other friends offer to throw a shower who were not invited o the wedding and I feel that if I don't invite th two of them and a few of my other friends who know I am getting married...I may end up hurting feelings, etc. Should I only invite those who are attending the wedding period...or should I go ahead and ask the others as well??? Please Help!!

Re: [molkins1] Bridal shower guest list for destination wedding

Only those invited to the wedding should be invited or offer to host the shower. If they were invited to the wedding and you know they are not attending it's not appropriate to invite them to the shower. Showers are totally optional events and are usually not appropriate for destination weddings since they tend to have very few guests.
