Combining favors and welcome gifts

When my guests arrive at my destination wedding, I plan to provide welcome tote bags for them, filled with local goodies. Is it OK to put our wedding reception favor in the tote bag?

Our lunch reception will immediately follow our beach ceremony, so I figure it's easier than dragging a big box to the restaurant, plus our guests won't have to carry it around with them.
