     Destination Wedding Invitation

We live in MD and are having our wedding on the beach in SC.

We are just inviting family, but I want to make it clear in the invitations that we are not paying for anybody to come down and stay.

What would be the proper way to do this in the invitation?

No one should assume that you are paying for their lodging. However, you are responsible for the lodging for your bridal party for 2-3 nights.
