     Destination Wedding Invitation RSVP Etiquette

Hello,

We are getting married in the Mayan Rivieria in April and are planning to send out invitations to anyone that we would have invited to a wedding at home. Since we acccept very few guests who are mostly family and close friends, is it poor etiquette to say "No formal RSVP required"?

Dear Donna,

No. You just wouldn't add an RSVP on your invitation.

Best wishes,

Thanks! Would it be acceptable to ask our invited guests to RSVP to an email or phone number?

If your wedding is very informal, this would be alright. If not, then it is better just to ask them to call you.
