We decided on a destination wedding with a party a few months later. We only really plan on formally inviting immediate family but want anyone interested to feel that they can come. Would it be okay to send save the dates with the date/destination saying anyone is welcome but we will be having a reception in July for everyone. We would then include our wedding website with details and contact info for anyone wanting to come. Then for invitations we would just do formal wedding invites for the ceremony for family and formal reception invites for everyone else. Is that all okay? Or do we need to do formal invites for the destination and party?
