     Destination wedding meals

I have done some research about Destination wedding etiquette and have noted that it is proper etiquette for us to have a welcome event for guests attending the wedding, as well as provide some sort of welcome bag and also a send-off breakfast the morning after the wedding. We can't afford both meals in addition to the reception meal, so I was wondering which would be more important?

Dear LAFiance,

If you are providing a reception with a meal, you really have your bases covered. If you provide anything more, that is even better. But, you are not obligated to offer anything else to your guests.

Best wishes,
