First, I would like to thank you for taking your time to read and answer this post.
I just got engaged for the second time. (I was much too young to get married my first time around and I was only married for a total of 6 months.) My fiance' has never been married.
We both have agreed that it would be lovely to have a destination wedding. However, I'm not sure if it is reasonable to have a destination wedding since I have already been married once.
We wouldn't be inviting many people (probably under 20 people). We also would be paying for a weeks worth of lodging for those invited. We wouldn't be paying for the flight.
So, after all that rambling, my question is: Is it ok for me to have a destination wedding when I have already been married once?
Thanks again! And have a great day

Even though this is a second wedding for you, it is your first wedding with this man. You can have the ceremony and celebration that makes sense for the two of you. If that is a destination wedding, go for it.
It's very generous to pay for all guests lodging since you're really only obligated to pay for the attendants (bridal party). When guests agree to attend a destination wedding they usually know that there will be costs incurred including travel costs. The cost is typically the determining factor in planning a destination wedding. In these trying economic times, be prepared for possibly having some guests declining the invitation.
