     Estranged friend

I am having my destination wedding in November. While I've already sent out the Save the Date cards, it occurred to me that I might need to invite a former close friend. We are estranged now, but 8 years ago, she actually introduced me to my fiance. We have a long history prior to that, but lost our friendship about 6 years ago. Do I send an invitation to her? She knows I am getting married because a few months ago I ran into her partner, who also is responsible for hooking me up with my fiance. HELP.

Only invite those you want to be with you. You have no obligation to invite everyone, and anyone, who ever had a part in your life unless you want to.
