     Friend Performing the Ceremony

Hi all! We are planning our wedding in Mexico, now some of the resorts we have looked at will only provide someone to actually perform the ceremony at an additional cost, has anyone ever ordained a friend on the internet to perform the ceremony? Any suggestions?

Thankyou!!

Yes, it can be done. Check with the laws in Mexico and also the laws in your home state to find out what's required for your marriage to be recognized. Recognition of internet ordination varies from state to state.
