     Getting married in the Bahamas

I was thinking about get married in the Bahamas at Old Bahama Bay Resort on Grand Bahama Island. I have researched the place, but have read mixed reviews. I was wondering if you knew anything about the resort and if it's not a good place to get married, do you have any other suggestions for places to get married in the Bahamas? Thanks!Smile

Old Bahamas Bay is just basic. No bells and whistles, so that would explain your mixed reviews. If people get there expecting more than basic they will be disappointed.

If you are looking at Grand Bahamas/Freeport then the Westin/Sheraton at our Lucaya (probably one of the better choices on this island) or Pelican Bay may be a better fit for a wedding.

If you want to look at Nassau/Paradise Atlantis (of course one of the pricier options but the resort is simply beautiful), Crystal Palace (really nice resort with something for everyone rooms have great variety of prices) or Club Med Columbus Isle (offers alot of activities) would be good hoices.

I hope that was of assistance to you.
