     Guest Count

Hello, I have a question regarding the etiquette of getting some kind of accurate head count for my wedding in Las Vegas.

I have invited nearly 100 people because 100 is my limit for my venue. My wedding is April 12, 2008 and I sent out save the date magnets in August with our wedding website on there. I realize that I'm an overly anxious person by nature, but no one has RSVP'd yet. I know they are not required to do so until formal invitations go out. Is there any way for me to get people to RSVP? Or would it be better for me to just ask my future MIL and my mother to see if they can just bring up whether or not their respective families are planning on attending?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Dear MisfitRoxy,

You got it. That is the best way. Plus, you can ask as well.

It is true that your guests are not required to formally RSVP at this time. But, we sure can ask. For the destination wedding, this is very important.

You could also send them the name of a very good travel agent who could assist them in their travel plans and keep you up to date on the head count.

Best wishes,
