We are only inviting 4 couples to the destination wedding in Vegas. I plan to give them Thank You gifts for making the long journey from Chicago. Any ideas?

Since the 4 couples are our parents and my godparents (witnessing for us) I'd guess $50 - $100 per couple. Is the an approperiate amount?
The appropriate amount is whatever you can afford to spend. The thought that goes into selecting a gift and the meaning behind it can mean so much more than a high price tag.
I would suggest a "keepsake" type gift; one that can be used but can also remind your parents of the special day. Here are a few suggestions:
Keepsake Gifts Special events and celebrations live on in the memory for a lifetime. Commemorate each one with a gift of silver or cherry wood, for a keepsake that will last as long as the memories.

That's a good idea. Maybe a memory type gift and then something kinda Vegas fun. Like a handheld casino game, casino chips (money), gift card, show tickets. I'll try to combine fin and memories.
What about getting a "wedding photo" taken of all of you with "Elvis"? Now, thats fun and "Vegas-y"!
