     Having trouble picking a date

My destination wedding, in FL, is more of a destination wedding for my guests, I live here but both my and my fiances families are from out of state (MA and OK). I am a big family person so children are invited to the wedding, andI want to have my wedding at a time were all are out of school. My first thought was June, but this year is was 95 on the day I picked and that is not the best for an outside wedding. My other though was having it Thanksgiving weekend, because most people have work off and schools are closed. The problem with this is that a lot of people like to celebrate the holiday at home and I dont want only 20 people to show up because my venue is very expensive (not to sound cheap but we could get a smaller venue for less $$ and have a nicer honeymoon). I am really having trouble trying to figure this out! Any advice for when would be better?

Even if you planned for the summer you could have some saying they are going on vacation. You probably won't be able to accommodate everyone. Try to find out when spring break is for the majority of the kids or possibly consider the week after Christmas. But, I agree that Thanksgiving and Christmas aren't the best choice.

I couldn't agree more. No matter when you schedule an event there is someone that it will not work for. Choose the date and time that works best for you and let your guests make the decision based on their availability.
