Invitations for Cruise Ship Wedding After Guests Have booked
Hi,
We are getting married on a caribbean cruise in January. Last week, all the guests who want to come, reserved their cabin with final payment being due in October. Do I send formal invitations to everyone we sent Save the Date/Travel Information to or just those that have reserved their cabin? As the ship is new and is filling up quickly, I am unsure whether any cabins will be left by the time we send out the invitations so I don't want those guests who may have changed their mind with seeing the invitation to be disappointed.

I wouldn't send save-the-dates to anyone if you've already transmitted the information to them about the date and cabins (you're doing work twice that way). Sending "invitations" is kind of a formality at this point, and possibly not necessary.
Assess the situation at the time that you send them, if you decide to send invitations - certainly it would be rude to "invite" someone who would not actually be able to attend.
In the meantime, try following up with those who have not made their reservations yet in case they need any additional assistance. Once you know the voyage is fully booked, reserve the communications meant for guests for those who have already confirmed. As per etiquette standards, everyone you sent save the date cards to should receive an invitation as well. We just figure that they may change their minds. I know it may seem silly if you don't think they will attend. But, not receiving an invitation after receiving a save the date may appear as if they are uninvited.
