I know it is typically a 6-8 week time frame to send out invites. I do not want to send out save the dates. Is it okay to send out invites only for a destination wedding in the usual time frame of 8 weeks?

Dear Hlb2b,

You could but you may not have any guests. People need time to plan. Perhaps you could contact everyone verbally to inform them of your plans and follow up with invitations about two months before your wedding.

Best wishes,
