Mentioning location of destination wedding in the invitation
We are having our wedding in Maui in August. I want to send out the invitations by the end of this month to about 30 members of our family. Most of them know about our destination wedding. We are not exactly sure where in Maui we are going to have it. We have a few options and will probably know for sure in a few weeks. For the location on the wedding invitation should we just put Maui, Hawaii? I want my guest to have the freedom to choose where ever they want to stay. Most of our guest are staying in Keihai, should I put that as the location? I was also thinking about including a separate card with information on where guest are staying such as:
"Most of our family and friends will be staying in Kihei, on the south west part of Maui. Please feel free to stay where ever you wish. Visit our website for more information."
Any ideas? All of the information is on our website, including where they can find travel/vacation deals and flights.
Thank you Nancy

Dear Nancy,
Your invitations shouldn't go out until you have the exact location of your wedding. You do have time, as these don't have to be mailed until about 8 weeks before your wedding.
You could include a note about where the majority of guest are staying, but it isn't a great idea to include your wedding website as a reference unless you do not have any gift information on your site.
Please remember that if your wedding venue is at your hotel and there is a "day fee" for those attending your wedding who are not hotel guests, you are obligated to pay this fee. Also, you are obligated to pay for the lodging expense of your attendants for at least two nights.
