Paying for MOH lodging for destination wedding

I understand that I am to pay for my MOH's lodging, however, she is not bringing a guest and is actually sharing a hotel room with another invited guest. Am I required to pay for both nights, or would it be okay if I just paid for her half, or one night rather?

Dear MisfitRoxy,

You are only expected to pay for her lodging. So, you could find out if the room rate is based on a per room rate or per person rate. If it is a per room rate, it would be best to purchase two nights.

Best wishes,
