     Post Reception Invitiation

Hi,

I looked through the threads but didn't see the same situation as mine. I will be having a small wedding in October of this year in Hawaii with only family and close friends. We will be having a reception a month after we come back... how far ahead should I send these reception invitations? I would like to send them 3 months ahead- is that too much? We will not be sending wedding invitations as the invited are all very close friends and family who are already on board.

Thanks!
