     Reception after Jamaica wedding

My fiance and I are going to Jamaica to be married. Just the two of us will be attending. I would like to know what is the proper thing, if any, to do about a reception when we return? Thanks!

Hosting a reception when you return is acceptable.

Have a wonderful trip.

Is is proper to have a catered meal and DJ or is it the norm to have an open house or backyard BBQ for this type of wedding?
