My fiance and I just booked our wedding ceremony site in Hawaii! We are only inviting about 35 guests.
My question is, how do we go about inviting guests to the ceremony in Hawaii, but also telling everyone else there will be a reception back at home in CA after our small ceremony? Do we send out save the dates for our home reception after we send out save the dates for our destination wedding?
I just don't know how to tell the other guests they will be able to celebrate with us without telling everyone over the phone or in conversation. I'm not inviting most of the extended family because there would be too many people to invite and only very close friends are invited.
