Skip Save the Date cards For Last Minute Destination Wedding

My fiance and I got engaged in November and we decided to get married in Jamaica in June. Since we are limited on time, can we just skip the save the date cards and send out our invitations with the travel agent's card at the end of February? Is this tacky?Unsure

The purpose of a Save the Date card is to get your date on their calendar. If you did send the invitation out the end of February what would your rsvp date be? I think it would be more realistic and considerate to send a Save the Date card, email or postcard to provide them with some decision making information such as hotels, transportation, etc.

I was going to put the end of March for the RSVP. Thank you, this was helpful. I will send out the save the date with all the information, then send the invitations out in April.
