Wedding Announcement After Private Destination Wedding

We are getting married in Nov 2009 in Curacao. Nobody is invited. We are keeping the wedding about the two of us. We both believe that entering into marriage in debt, is not a financially responsible action. We don't want to go in to debt for anyone and we don't want anyone going in to debt for us. Our plan is to have our wedding in Curacao and then come home and then celebrate with our friends. We would like to send out individual wedding annoucement/wedding intentions to our friends and family, I am at a loss for words for the wording of it. Do you have any suggestions?

Dear Boyerv,

Your focus is a very good one. But, I believe the reason you are confused is because there is no such thing as a wedding announcement/wedding intention. Announcements are sent after the wedding to those who must know and who are not invited to the wedding or reception. Reception invitations are sent to those invited to the reception. These do not have to mention the wedding. That is a given fact.

Best wishes,
