     When To have the reception

We are going to Las Vegas on february 26th to get married. Only our parents are coming with us. We planned on sending out announcements when we get back and then having a reception too. How soon after we get back should we have the reception and should we send the reception invitations out with the wedding announcements?

Dear When to Have,

You can have your reception any time after your wedding. If it is soon, don't send your announcements to those you plan to send reception invitations. The invitation speaks for itself.

You want to send invitations to the reception at least six weeks before you plan to host your reception.

Best wishes,
