Who pays for mother of the groom to travel to destination wedding

My brother is getting married in Eastern Europe where his fiance and her family live. We are invited. I have no problem in paying for my airfare but should my brother pay for our mother to travel?

Your brother is only obligated to pay for the lodging of his attendants. So, no.
