bridal shower and bachelorette party

Hi, My sister is getting married in Las Vegas in May. If one is having a destination, is a bridal shower and bachelorette party still planned, or what is the thing that is suppose to be done?

Dear Bridal Shower,

Only those invited to the wedding are invited to the bridal shower, so if she has guests invited to her wedding, she may have a shower hosted for her. If there are attendants, the bride can also have a bachelorette party.
