does the brides family pay for grooms' side accomodations

I just started planning my destination wedding and my parents told me that they would pay for the wedding and my immediate family's travel and lodging, plus the bride/groom's. I now see that we pay for attendants lodging too, which is fine. But, my fiance thinks that my parents should be paying for his family's accommodations too...Is this true?

It is extremely generous for your parents to offer to pay for any of the wedding. They are not obligated to pay for your fiance's family.

I agree. If your fiance feels so strongly that his family shouldn't have to pay, he could.
