white and black wedding dress for destination wedding in Hawaii

My fiance and I are getting married in Kona, Hawaii - - just the two of us! I found a great dress today that is black and white, though very pretty and feminine, with some lace and actually more white than black....is this ok or a no-no to wear black? The wedding is in November. Thanks!

You are in luck. All colors are fine for brides these days. There is no negative connotation with black now.
