Yes, Hawaii can be a little more expensive than other island destinations and depending upon where you're flying from, the price can really jump. Since you haven't mentioned your departure city or budget, I'm just going to throw out some ideas.
Bahamas and Jamaica have all-inclusives that can be reasonable and quite often you can get airfare-inclusive packages if you work with a travel agent. Tell your agent your budget and he/she can make recommendations from there. Another idea is Cancun/Playa del Carmen/Cozumel Mexico where you'll get a nice tropical beach honeymoon and there are lower average price points than in Hawaii. Hope that helps.

We were still able to find an all-inclusive resort (Renaissance Grand Beach Resort) and stay for a week. The price was extremely reasonable and the island was just beautiful! It was -by far- the most beautiful place that I have ever been to!! We will definitely be going back again... soon, I hope!! Hope this helps.
