My husband and I never got to have a honeymoon since the birth of our child was only a couple of days away. Would it be appropriate to take one after our reaffirmation in which we plan to have our ceremony for our 5 year anniversary?

You wouldn't call it a honeymoon, but sure, go ahead and have a nice vacation after your vow renewal. But note that most couples wait for a benchmark anniversary, (10, 20 25 years) to have a reaffirmation.
