     Honeymoon Responsibility

Who pays for the honeymoon? I always thought that this was the groom's responsiblity but I am being told it is the groom's parents responsibility, which is correct? Thanks for your help.

Dear Kaejan,

Traditionally, it used to be the groom's family who would pay for this. But, those are old rules. The couple pays for it as parents are no longer financially responsible for their children's weddings.

Best wishes,
