We are getting married next September. From the moment we got engaged we have talked about going to a greek island for our honeymoon. However, we have heard that it might not be a great place for Americans to be. Is this true? Are there safe resorts for Americans to travel to?

The Greek Islands are very American tourist friendly. Mostly everyone you run into at the shops, restaurants, and resorts speak English which is a plus.
A good way to see the Greek Islands is to start from Athens on a short 3-4 day Greek Island tour and then spend a few night in Santorini. A resort I highly recommend is the Santorini. It is not one of your new fancy resorts but more on a boutique style with WONDERFUL service
If you have time a couple days on Mykonos is also good. Uneeda V. Arnold UNEEDA VACATION http://www.uneedavacation.com
