Hi! Does anyone know of a secluded house or cottage on the beach in Hawaii. I have searched the internet for hours, but maybe I'm being too picky. My fiance and I are not into the big resort thing and do not want a condo, especially on a golf course. We want something private and we want to be able to walk out the back door and onto the beach whenever we want instead of walking for miles or driving. We don't plan on getting out very much ;), so we want something cozy and relaxed. I would GREATLY appreciate ANY help!! PLEASE!!!!! I'm about to the point where I'm going to give up! :(

I understand your frustration. Hawaii beaches are populated with some of the biggest condos and resorts in the world and finding the special private spot is a bit taxing.
It depends on what island you want and when you are going, but here are just a few.
Maui - Kaimana's Beach Hale - private cottage 1 bedroom 1 bath and full kitchen - just steps to the beach
Kauai - Anini Mango Beach Cottage - private cottage 1 bedroom 1 bath - beach one very walkable block
Big Island - Kaimu Bay - private cottage across street the street from black sand beach
Contacting a travel professional with your dates, price range and your specification will prove helpful. They have access to places not easily found on the internet through agent resources. There are actually hundreds of places to choose from on each island.
Thanks for the reply, Uneeda! We are trying not to limit ourselves to a small, one bedroom cottage, so if you know of anything else that is on the beach in a more private area, please let me know. It can be a house with a few bedrooms or a one room cottage. We found a beautiful 3 bedroom two-story home in Molokai, but it was just a little more than we wanted to pay. We are hoping to only spend up to $1,500 a week and we are wanting to stay for two weeks. Molokai was our first choice, since it its said to be the most like old Hawaii and a very relaxed, quiet atmosphere. Please let me know if you know of anything else around. I really appreciate you help!
