     BUDGET FOR FLORIST

I know a florist whom is really good and I have asked her to be the florist for my Wedding next year. She is telling me that Florists usually get 20% of the wedding budget to do flowers, however NO where have I seen this to be the case. Every budget on the internet or in the books I have checked out from the library on wedding planning say anywhere near 20%. It is more like 7%. What is a fair amount for nice flowers that are in season to pay to a really good free lance florist whom has had 7 years experience? Thanks!

The wedding flowers should cost about 10% of your budget. These expenses include ceremony flowers, bridal bouquet, bridal party flowers and reception centerpieces.
