Gosh, I really feel for you. This is a problem. The damage is done for you but, in the future, if a shop wants all money down before delivery --RUN! Lesson learned.
Now, on to how to correct your issue. I assume you have tried to contact the shop owner and they don't have your dresses. If the the shop is really bankrupt you can file a suit against them but that will not benefit you until later. Try ebay or some local consignment shops to see if you can get a good deal on some matching dresses. Also try some local department stores. They will sometimes have good deals on evening gowns (if it is a formal wedding) or cocktail dresses for less formal events.
Try not to let this ruin your wedding. Remember what the day is really all about.
Good luck to you. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".

One more thing to consider. If you paid with a credit card you may be able to get your money back through the credit card company. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".
I totally agree. There is one other possibility, check with the designer to see if they have your order. If they do you may be able to work something out with them. Nancy Tucker President of Weddings Beautiful US http://www.weddingsbeautiful.com
