Decorations - lots of candles and silver finished (party stores have these) styled candle holders, vines, fruits all arranged on a platter similar to what you would find during the period.
Favors - could be scrolls and or mini-swords and fans.
The cake might either be a modern cake or one with an 'old world' styled decor.

You might find that some are willing to loan you costumes, or charge little for the service.
I'm curious how you are going to attempt to have both renaissance and Halloween represented as your themes without it appearing too much. The two are fairly separate themes. I'm just having light touches of Halloween and autumn, I don't want it to be completely tacky. The favors will be a combination as well as the costumes but everything else we shall see
