We are trying to plan a wedding with about 25 people attending and we are hoping to try to do this for around $600 if possible. We do not plan to have a reception and we do not need anything fancy. Any ideas?

Although you don't have to host a full blown reception, having a little something afterwards is appropriate. Choose a time of the day when a full meal will not be expected and serve cake and punch or some sort of refreshments along those same lines. With regard to the cost, it really depends on where you live, what your venue offers and where you shop. But, for example, if your church has a hall you can rent and then you get your cake from a wholesale outlet like BJ's or Sam's Club, you may be able to swing this.
Good luck and let us know how and if you make it happen. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".

I completely agree. Cake and a beverage is a very nice way to thank your guests for sharing in your day--and it isn't expensive. Rebecca Black, Etiquette Now
