Figuring out how many guest will come to a wedding
Is there a way to politely determine how many people are going to come to a wedding who are from out of town? The majority of the invitees are from other states and it is difficult to determine how many will come.

There really is no good way to figure this out. Don't try to fashion a guest list to fill up seats. Just invite those you want to witness your marraige, the number of guests you can afford to host or that your venue will hold and whomever can attend, will attend. I completely agree. And today, so many do not know how to RSVP, so you may not know how many you will have attending until the very day. Rebecca Black, Etiquette Now
