     Grooms dinner

Smile HELP!! We are having an informal grooms dinner at the reception hall the night before so we can set up for the following day. I am thinking of something simple and inexpensive as we will probably be looking at 40 some people for the grooms dinner. Bun sandwiches, salads, cole slaw???? Is that ok, and does anyone have any suggestions for inexpensive but tastefull menus for a grooms dinner??

I think your idea of sandwiches is good. This dinner does not have to be formal or expensive. The only alternative I would recommend is having your dinner catered. The reason is you will be setting up for the next day. Too much work on the night before can cause you to be fatigued and overworked and you won't be able to enjoy the wedding day fully. It is best to stick to something simple and I think you already have that idea.

Cheers!
