My H2B and I have not decided whether or not to have a reception. We are having a small wedding (no more than 10 people), since we want to have just our closest family and friends in attendance and not some huge wedding that does not reflect us. Not to mention, inviting and feeding people that we have not seen in years does not really appeal to us. Does anyone have any ideas to throw an inexpensive wedding reception?

There are many ways to host an inexpensive wedding reception.
Depending on the time of day you could certainly have a simple cake and punch reception or a small cocktail party. Leaving out things like alcohol and expensive venues can cut the cost too.
