     Finding a Preacher

My fiancé and I are having a heard time finding a preacher to perform the ceremony. We were both raised Baptist, however, neither of us attend church on a regular basis. We are not members at any church in our town, but would like for a Baptist preacher to perform the ceremony. Any suggestions on how to go about find a preacher? Also, we live together, so that has proved to be a problem with the one preacher we have already met with. Should we expect this to be the case with every preacher?

Thanks!

Some geographic areas offer more choices for officiants than others. But I suspect you have more options than the minister you have asked about your wedding. If you complete an inquiry at http://www.serviceministries.org/inquire.html I will send you a few contact names for your geographic area. You can also try http://www.topweddingsites.com and select your state for a search for clergy.
